From mid‑July to mid‑November, the waters of French Polynesia serve as a breeding and birthing sanctuary for these majestic mammals, who migrate all the way from Antarctica to seek refuge near our islands.
If the whales are in a resting phase, you’ll have the opportunity to swim in the open ocean to observe them. You can also listen to the haunting songs of male humpbacks through the hydrophone carried on board.

The excursion also includes:
- A stop in the lagoon where you can swim with blacktip reef sharks and interact with friendly grey stingrays.
- A stop beyond the coral reef (weather permitting) at a dive site offering the chance to observe blacktip reef sharks and various other species at around 15 meters deep.
